I am sure that you use your web camera for fun while chatting with others. You probably use it to chat with those you know in person as well as those you have never met before in your life. One of the reasons people like to chat on a Video Chat is that they like the idea of seeing how others look like. They simply want to know how those with whom they chat look like. It is not a secret that most people judge others based on the way they look like. There is nothing really you can do about it unless you decide to attach some professional lights to your monitor or camera to make you look better while chatting with others.

My first piece of advice is to avoid experimenting with light bulbs. Instead of making you look better on camera, they can actually make you look worse. If you add too many lights around your monitor or camera, others will need to squint while talking with you. They might even quit the conversation with you thinking that looking at you hurts their eyes too much. If I were you, I would try not to experiment with lights and light bulbs on your own. Sometimes, too many lights turned on can make you appear like you are staring straight in to sunlight. You need to do things in moderation here. A simple set of video chat lights is more than enough to ensure that you are always going to look like a supermodel while chatting with others over a video camera. You will discover that you do not necessarily need many lights to achieve what you want.

While chatting with others in a video chat can be a great experience, it might be a good idea to make it even better by using some sort of tools to make you look better.
