In practice, this means that Renault owns 44.4% of Nissan’s shares while Nissan owns 15% of Renault’s shares. Today, Nissan is one of the three largest automakers in Japan. It is also known as Japanese Big 3 Automakers. What is even more, Nissan is one of the three major Asian automakers known in the whole world. Not only Nissan manufacturers cars such as Pathfinder, but it also makes the Infiniti luxury cars. Whether you are into cars you could use for traveling to work or whether you are into luxury cars, Nissan has something to offer to anybody. I would like to tell you another interesting thing about Nissan. It came to me as a surprise that the word Nissan is pronounced differently in various parts of the world. I do not mean here the difference in pronunciation between countries such as Japan or the United States. There is a difference in pronunciation between countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
