It seems that it is not that easy to trick Alexa. There has been a discussion going on whether repeatedly reloading/refreshing the homepage of a website will improve the website’s Alexa score. The conclusion of the discussions is that apparently it will not. That is because multiple requests for the same site during the same day from the same computer are counted as a single page view by Alexa. So remember, there is no point in refreshing your page many, many times, as it is not going to increase your Alexa score. On the other hand, the best way to improve your Alexa rank is to attract legitimate traffic.
