Many people believe that advertising on TV is very expensive. It is true if you think of TV stations such as CNN or Fox, but when you think about your local TV stations, you might find a station where advertising can be affordable. If you are a local business owner, you do not need to advertise on CNN or Fox. Very often, advertising on your local TV can bring you more customers, as only people in your area are going to watch your ads. Being known in your area as a business owner might be a lot better solution than advertising on TV where nobody will ever recognize you. It is true that advertising on your local TV can be cheaper than advertising in a newspaper or on the Internet. Take it to your advantage and prepare for two steps:

-Find a company that will be willing to make a commercial for your company. There should be somebody in your area that specializes in video production. His services do not have to be necessarily expensive.
-Choose a local TV station with which you want to cooperate. Be ready to spend some time comparing the prices of a few TV stations. Their prices might be competitive.
